Mike Harmon’s invitation that was extended to Michael Annett to meet him at Applebee’s after the two made contact in NASCAR Xfinity Series practice on Friday, apparently went unanswered.

Mike Harmon Racing’s occasional NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Tim Viens shared his personal text message exchange with Harmon on Saturday morning with TobyChristie.com.

In the chat, Harmon confirms that while he was Eatin’ good in the neighborhood, Annett ended up being a no show.

Harmon made contact with Annett’s No. 1 machine in practice which resulted in the rear bumper cover flying off of Annett’s car.

The two apparently talked it over in the garage area, but once NBC Sports went over to interview Annett, the driver of the No. 1 car called Harmon an idiot.

This sparked a set of tweets from Harmon where he basically challenged Annett to a throw down at a local Applebee’s.
