Brett Moffitt is the defending NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series champion, and he drove like it Thursday night at Bristol Motor Speedway in the UNOH 200.

Moffitt started from the pole, won Stage 2 and led 66 of the 200 laps on the night. However, in the closing laps Moffitt had to hold off a very fast Chandler Smith for the win. Moffitt hit his marks and got the job done for his third win of the 2019 season.

With the win, Moffitt automatically advances to the Round of 6 in the Playoffs.

Behind Smith was Stage 1 winner Ross Chastain who rebounded from a pit road penalty to come home third.

Stewart Friesen rebounded from adversity as well as he crashed earlier in the race. He would rally to finish fourth.

The regular season champion Grant Enfinger would round out the top-five finishers on the night.

Sheldon Creed, Matt Crafton, Ben Rhodes, Todd Gilliland and Austin Hill ended inside the top-10 as well.

Johnny Sauter was involved in a crash with John Hunter Nemechek in Stage 2, but he saved his playoff aspirations with an 11th-place finish.
