In honor of Kyle Larson’s hatred of NASCAR Memes, it seems like a great week to start doing a weekly NASCAR Meme of the Week feature at TobyChristie.com.

Our good pals at NASCAR Banter have been kind enough to help us by creating some amazing NASCAR Memes on their facebook page. Each week, I will select the five memes that I believe are the best to showcase.

Without further adieu, here are the best memes from the past week:

5. Tony Stewart Anger Strikes Again

Tony Stewart was caught on film punching a fan who heckled him after suffering engine failure during a sprint car race last week. The guys at NASCAR Banter poked fun at Stewart’s long-known anger issues.

4. Hendrick Motorsports Struggles

It’s been a rough few weeks for Hendrick Motorsports. Numerous crashed cars over the past couple of races have to have the guys in the fab shop working over time. The performance resurgence that the team was enjoying recently seems to have faded as well. NASCAR Banter was there to pounce.

3. Crash — er — Kyle Larson

For the second consecutive week, Kyle Larson crashed in practice to go to a backup race car. That spawned this hilarious meme which plays on Pink Floyd’s iconic hit “The Wall.”

Larson, for what it’s worth, did go on to finish fifth at Pocono after slapping the wall again on a late restart.

2. Ouch!

Chase Elliott was fast, but a blown tire ended his day. Jimmie Johnson had a fast car, won Stage 2 but faded to finish 15th. Alex Bowman has not been super impressive the last few weeks, either. This meme is hilarious because it incorporates HMS’ struggles of late with an incident that happened in the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Iowa.

Dillon Bassett (HMS Drivers in the Meme) collided with a sweeper truck (HMS Technicians in the Meme) for one of the more bizarre crashes in NASCAR history.

1. Killer Mullet, dude

If you didn’t notice, Kevin Harvick and Busch Beer brought a Gen-X inspired paint scheme to Pocono Raceway this weekend. While Harvick’s Millennial car from the All-Star Race got a lot of attention and Millennials took a lot of ribbing, not much was said or done about the Gen-X’ers. NASCAR Banter cured that with this awesome depiction of Harvick in a super Gen-X mullet.

Check in next week for another five memes from the world of NASCAR.
