Brandon Brown has become one of the feel-good stories in the NASCAR Xfinity Series garage this season. Driving for his family-owned No. 86 team, Brown has put up solid results (three top-15 finishes in the first seven races), but it looked like he would be on the sidelines as Mason Diaz brought sponsorship to run the No. 86 car for Richmond.

However, another feel-good story RSS Racing has given Brown a shot to drive their No. 93 entry this weekend, which will keep Brown’s playoff eligibility intact if he were to find a way to point his way into the Playoffs or win a race to secure a spot.

Brown announced the news via Twitter:

Brown will take over a car that has been driven by Josh Bilicki. The 93 team has dropped out of four of the seven events this season due to mechanical failures, but regardless what the result is this weekend, it will keep Brown on the race track.
