Video: NASCAR’s Next Gen Car Sporting Smaller Spoiler in Day Two of Logano Test

Day one of NASCAR’s latest test of their Next Gen car at ISM Raceway in Phoenix got overwhelming positive reviews from fans on social media.

The car did not have a pancaked right side for aerodynamics sake, the front spoiler did not seal all the way down to the ground and the tires seemed to be wider than the current NASCAR Cup Series tires.

Overall, folks were happy — except the spoiler seemed to still be ginormous.

Well, on day two, Joey Logano rolled onto the track with a noticeably smaller spoiler blade. As we know, this doesn’t mean NASCAR will settle on the smaller spoiler, but they do seem to at least be open to trying everything.
