The dirt at Bristol is slick, but the trucks are sticky, apparently.

With 50 laps left in Saturday night’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Pinty’s Dirt Race, Matt DiBenedetto made slight contact with Austin Wayne Self while battling inside the top-10.

As the two trucks made contact, the rear bumper of DiBenedetto’s truck and the front bumper on Self’s truck got completely wedged together.

Here is the weird moment:

In an effort to dislodge the trucks, the safety crew at the track used the tow truck to slam into the No. 25 truck in an effort to break the trucks free. What ended up occurring was massive damage to the No. 25 truck.

Finally, the tow truck team was able to get the two trucks broken apart, but after running inside the top-10, both drivers fell to 35th and 36th in the running order.

DiBenedetto is five laps down, while Self lost seven laps in the chaos.
