Video: Chase Elliott Sends Kyle Busch For a Spin in Turn 12 at COTA on Lap 10

Kyle Busch’s No. 18 Skittles Toyota Camry went spinning after contact from Chase Elliott in turn 12 on lap 10 of Sunday’s Cup race at COTA. Screengrab from FOX broadcast.

Kyle Busch had not been having a very fun race in Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas, as he had been complaining about his car’s handling, brakes and drive off the turns. But on lap 10, things got compounded when Chase Elliott made contact with Busch’s rear bumper.

The contact sent Busch spinning out of the racing groove in turn 12.

In an instant, Busch slid from 12th to outside the top-25.
