Video: Breathtaking Finish Leads to a First-Time Winner in NASCAR Pinty’s Race at Sunset Speedway

NASCAR Pintys Series finish Sunset Speedway 2022 Lessard Lapcevich Camirand
Marc-Antoine Camirand gets in to Raphael Lessard, which allowed Treyten Lapcevich to snag his first-career win.

WOW! That’s all that can be said for the finish of Saturday’s NASCAR Pinty’s Series NTN Ultimate Bearing Experience 250 at Sunset Speedway.

On an overtime restart, Raphael Lessard (No. 8) crowded Marc-Antoine Camirand (No. 96) toward the outside before taking the green flag. As a result, Camirand took exception to the way he was raced and opted to drive through Lessard heading into turn 1.

As the two made contact, 18-year old Treyten Lapcevich squeaked by to take the lead.

In a wild final two laps, Lapcevich was able to hold Lessard at bay to score his first-career NASCAR Pinty’s Series victory.

Here is the incredible finish as it played out on FloRacing:
