Video: Austin Dillon Cuts Down Right Front Tire, Impacts Outside Wall at Martinsville

Well, it turns out the damage to the right-front corner of Austin Dillon’s No. 3 Chevrolet won’t be of assistance to the overall speed on the entry, after cutting a right-front tire after a long run to start the race’s second stage.

The damage was the result of contact between Dillon and NASCAR Cup Series Playoff contender Ryan Blaney, and forced the team to come down pit road to repair the wounded panels on the car.

Dillon was able to continue in the event, but would fall a lap down while attempting to get his car back into racing condition.
