Apparently, Las Vegas wasn’t the only place where tempers boiled over today…
While battling for the lead in Sunday’s Winchester 400, the fight between Chandler Smith and Jake Garcia – a pair of NASCAR Truck Series competitors – got heated, and ultimately resulted in Smith spinning into the inside wall.

Smith, who will move to the NASCAR Xfinity Series next year, obviously didn’t take kindly to the way he was being raced by Garcia and decided to let his crew know, walking down to the team’s pit stall and throwing the detached hood from his car on the ground.
That sparked quite the outrage from Garcia’s crew members, who immediately began a profanity-laced tirade against the Kyle Busch Motorsports driver, to the tune of “you get your shit out of our pit box”.
Continuing the altercation on pit road at Winchester Speedway, Smith and a gentleman that jumped down from the top of the Garcia team’s pit box, began shoving each other, as more and more people slowly started to get involved in this disagreement.

While all of this was taking place in his pit stall, Garcia was still on the track, vying for a victory in one of the biggest’s Late Model races of the year, the Winchester 400.
The 17-year-old would ultimately finish in fourth place in the Winchester 400, losing out to Stephen Nasse, Sammy Smith, and William Sawalich in the race’s closing laps. On the other hand, Chandler Smith retired from the event, finishing 17th of 27 entries.
