Video: Dale Earnhardt Jr. Makes ANOTHER Masterful Wreck Avoidance in South Carolina 400 at Florence

Dale Earnhardt Jr. has done it again, missing an enormous accident in the closing stages of Saturday’s South Carolina 400 at Florence Speedway. Earnhardt made a great avoidance of moving to the outside of two spinning cars.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. must have borrowed Jimmie Johnson’s golden horseshoe for tonight’s South Carolina 400 at Florence Speedway because the NASCAR hall-of-famer has made two INSANE wreck avoidances.

The first wreck avoidance came pretty early in the event, as the two-time NASCAR Xfinity Series champion was able to get his Bass Pro Shops entry stopped and avoid a 10-car accident prior to the race’s first break.

This avoidance, however, may be even more impressive than the first.

Running at the back half of the top-10 coming to the end of the race’s second stage, contact between Kaden Honeycutt and Mason Diaz sent cars spinning inside the top five, just in front of the No. 3 Chevrolet.

That looked like the end of the night for Earnhardt, who came into the corner with a lot of speed – and despite making slight contact with Brenden Queen – was able to keep his JR Motorsports entry from getting any major damage.

By jerking the wheel to the right-hand side, Earnhardt was able to get around the two spinning cars on the outside, narrowly keeping his entry off of Mason Diaz, who was rolling backward.

Though, behind Dale Earnhardt Jr, there were many cars collected in the aftermath of the accident, which collected at least 10 – if not 15 – cars throughout the middle to rear portion of the pack.

Now, with the clean car, Earnhardt sits sixth heading into the final 50-lap stage of the South Carolina 400.
