Kyle Larson scored his 25th-career World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series win Saturday night at the Thunderdome in Tulare.

Kyle Larson may have to start at the rear of the field in Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Ruoff Mortgage 500 at Phoenix Raceway, but Larson should be up for the challenge after boosting his confidence with his 25th-career World of Outlaws victory Saturday night at Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare, California.

Larson started the 35-lap main event from the sixth position, but by lap 19, Larson had worked his way around some of the best in the business including Sweet, Dominic Scelzi and Giovanni Scelzi to take the race lead.

From there, it was all Larson the rest of the way.

Larson, the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion, would hold off his brother in law Sweet for the win, while David Gravel would rally from ninth starting spot to finish on the podium in third.

This was Larson’s first race at Thunderdome Raceway since 2013, according to the World of Outlaws.
