Jesse Little’s bid to make it into the A-Feature for the 2022 Chili Bowl ended in the M2 Feature.

Jesse Little’s maiden Chili Bowl Nationals adventure has concluded in the M2 Feature. Little, who will run for Young’s Motorsports during the 2022 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, finished ninth (originally scoring showed him in eighth, but one of the cars ahead of him had a faulty scoring transponder) in the 16-car feature event.

As the race ended, Little went for a flip in the No. 3L Shriners Hospital for Children machine after he crossed the finish line.

Following his feature race finish, Little took to Twitter to explain he didn’t even know he was on the final lap at the time of his flip due to his ear buds being dislodged during a previous crash in the race.

Little added in the tweet, that he hopes to return to race the Chili Bowl Nationals again in the future.

Earlier in the week, Little told TobyChristie.com in an interview that he had hoped to make it past the L-Feature, so he could have equaled his friend and fellow NASCAR competitor Cole Custer.

Custer made it to the J-Feature in his attempt at the Chili Bowl back in 2015.

While Little just barely failed to make the top-six in Saturday’s M2, Tucker Klaasmeyer won the feature and will move on to the L2 Feature. Joining Klaasmeyer in the L2 from the M2 will be Carson McCarl, Hayden Reinbold, Dustin Weland, Ryan Leavitt and Kennedy Johnson.
