Starting Lineup for NASCAR Truck Series Event at St. Pete

The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series is going into Saturday’s OnlyBulls Green Flag 150 at St. Petersburg pretty much blind. After about 10 minutes of practice, Mother Nature took over the area and forced NASCAR to cancel the remainder of practice and qualifying.

Thus, NASCAR was forced to use its Performance Metric to set its starting lineup for Saturday’s inaugural event.

Connor Mosack, driving the No. 7 Friends of Jaclyn Foundation Chevrolet Silverado RST for Spire Motorsports, will sit on the pole on Saturday, after Kyle Busch won with the vehicle last weekend at EchoPark Speedway.

Gio Ruggiero will start second, with James Hinchcliffe third, Ben Rhodes fourth, and Chandler Smith rounding out the top-five. Dario Franchitti will roll from sixth in the TRICON Garage No. 1, with Wesley Slimp, Landen Lewis, Jake Garcia, and Adam Andretti rounding out the top-10.
