Food City 300 race results NASCAR Xfinity Series at Bristol Motor Speedway

Aric Almirola held off a hard-charging Sheldon Creed in the closing laps of Friday night’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Bristol to score a hard-fought win in the Food City 300. This is the second win of the season, and the ninth win of Almirola’s 130-race NASCAR Xfinity Series career.

Almirola crossed the finish line 0.381 seconds ahead of Creed, who registered his 15th career runner-up finish in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

Sam Mayer finished in third, and he was followed by Carson Kvapil and Connor Zilisch inside the top five.

Justin Allgaier, Harrison Burton, Christian Eckes, Jeremy Clements, and Brennan Poole rounded out the top-10 finishers.
