Connor Zilisch took his 10th win of the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series season in Saturday’s Blue Cross NC 250 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval over Austin Green, Sammy Smith, Kaz Grala, and Connor Mosack.
The race ended in a controversial caution flag on the last lap, which put the Round of 8 Playoff field into question. After reviewing the tape, NASCAR determined that Sammy Smith would advance over Taylor Gray. The eight drivers, who will battle for a NASCAR Xfinity Series championship, are Zilisch, Justin Allgaier, Brandon Jones, Smith, Sheldon Creed, Sam Mayer, Jesse Love, and Carson Kvapil.
The four drivers eliminated were Nick Sanchez, Taylor Gray, Austin Hill, and Harrison Burton.
