Ty Gibbs topped the field in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series practice session for The Chilango 150 at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City. Gibbs turned a fast lap time of 92.979 seconds (93.699 mph), which allowed him to narrowly secure the fastest time in the session.
Connor Zilisch, the second-fastest driver in the session, clocked in 0.079 seconds off the time set by Gibbs in the session at the 2.42-mile road course.
