NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship Race Starting Lineup (Phoenix)

Brandon Jones didn’t advance to the Championship 4, and his competitors are likely thankful for that, as the No. 20 Toyota GR Supra has clinched the pole position for Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship Race at Phoenix Raceway.

Jones posted a lap of 27.490 seconds (130.957mph) to earn his 14th career pole in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and his second of the 2025 campaign. Taylor Gray, the winner of the series’ most recent event at Martinsville Speedway and a teammate of Jones at Joe Gibbs Racing, will roll from the outside of the front row.

Sheldon Creed will start third in the final race for Haas Factory Team as a Ford Performance-backed organization. Championship 4 drivers Connor Zilisch and Justin Allgaier rounded out the top five, after posting the EXACT SAME LAP TIME to the thousandth of a second.

Jesse Love, who was the quickest on the long run of the Championship 4 drivers in NASCAR Xfinity Series practice Friday, will start from sixth place, with Aric Almirola — still in the fight for the Owner’s Championship on behalf of Joe Gibbs Racing– starting in seventh.

Nick Sanchez will roll from eighth, with Sam Hunt Racing and Dean Thompson putting together an impressive qualifying effort in ninth. Ryan Sieg, driving the No. 41 Ford Mustang Dark Horse for the suspended Sam Mayer, rounded out the top-10.

Carson Kvapil will start 14th, the lowest position of the four drivers fighting it out for the NASCAR Xfinity Series Driver’s Championship. Austin Hill, also in the fight for the NASCAR Xfinity Series Owner’s Championship, will roll from 16th.
