2025 NASCAR Cup Series Xfinity 500 Practice Results

Xfinity 500 practice results NASCAR Cup Series at Martinsville Speedway

Chase Elliott, who likely needs a win to advance to the Championship 4, led the way in single-lap speed in Saturday’s NASCAR Cup Series practice at Martinsville Speedway. The driver of the No. 9 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet turned a fast lap of 19.767 seconds around the 0.526-mile paperclip.

Denny Hamlin, who is already locked into the Championship 4, ranked second-fastest, and was just 0.001 seconds off the quick time set by Elliott, while Ty Gibbs, Bubba Wallace, and Kyle Larson rounded out the top-five fastest in the practice session.

While Elliott was the fastest in single-lap speed, Hamlin was definitely the faster car over the long run in the session, which will force the Hendrick Motorsports teams to likely make adjustments to their cars for Sunday’s race.

Here are the complete practice results for the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series Xfinity 500 at Martinsville Speedway, race 35 of 36.
