As the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series returns to The Milwaukee Mile for the first time since 2009, there is no sign of anybody being able to derail the domination from Seymour, Wisconsin-native Ty Majeski.

Majeski, who has been a dominant force in the series’ two most recent events at Richmond Raceway and Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, looks poised to continue that trend after leading Saturday’s practice from the one-mile facility.

With a time of 30.351 seconds (120.391mph), Majeski posted the fastest time in the sole practice session for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series at The Milwaukee Mile, where the 29-year-old driver looks to score his second consecutive victory.

Nick Sanchez, who has some experience racing at the facility from his participation in the ARCA Menards Series the last two seasons, clocked in second place in practice, while Carson Hocevar, Matt DiBenedetto, and Zane Smith completed the top five.

Corey Heim, the regular-season champion in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series this year, posted the sixth-quickest time on Saturday, while Chase Purdy was right behind him in seventh.

Sean Hingorani, attempting to make his NASCAR Truck Series debut in a second entry for Hattori Racing Enterprises, ended up eighth in the series’ sole practice session.

McAnally-Hilgemann Racing teammates Jake Garcia and Christian Eckes completed the top-10 rundown in practice, with the ninth and tenth-fastest laps.

Grant Enfinger, Ben Rhodes, and Matt Crafton were the three playoff-eligible drivers who failed to post laps inside the top-10 in practice on Saturday, with Enfinger 12th, Rhodes 14th, and Crafton 26th.

Of note, Dexter Bean, looking to qualify for Sunday’s race with his family-owned team Blackjack Racing, was 19th-fastest in practice. Should the Wisconsin native back up that pace in qualifying, he’ll handily make the field.
