Reaume Brothers Racing Team Hauler Crashes in Tunnel at Atlanta

The Reaume Brothers Racing team hauler crashed in the service tunnel while exiting Atlanta Motor Speedway on Saturday. Screengrab from FS1 broadcast.

The Reaume Brothers Racing team took a massive hit as the team was attempting to exit Atlanta Motor Speedway following Saturday’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series FR8 208.

The team’s hauler, which was carrying both the No. 33 and No. 43 trucks that ran in Saturday’s race, attempted to exit the track through the incorrect tunnel following the race. The hauler turned into the service tunnel in turn 3 of the race track, which has a very low clearance.

Team owner Josh Reaume confirmed to TobyChristie.com that it was his team’s hauler that got wedged into the tunnel.

The FS1 NASCAR Xfinity Series broadcast showed footage of the hauler being removed from the tunnel.

While the damage to the team’s hauler is severely damaged, Reaume says that the team will attempt to adjust in an effort to move on to the next race, but the crucial thing is that the hauler driver was not injured in the accident.

“We’re no stranger to adversity,” Reaume said. “Most important thing is no one is hurt. Things are replaceable, people are not.”

In addition to the two full-time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series entries, Reaume Brothers Racing has fielded the No. 33 car part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series this season and the team also prepares the Team Hezeberg NASCAR Cup Series cars as well.
