Parker Kligerman has been tapped to return to the No. 48 Big Machine Spiked Coolers Chevrolet Camaro for the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, the organization announced on Thursday.

The 33-year-old driver, who took on the challenge of full-time competition in NASCAR’s top-three series this season for the first time in a decade, will now get a second season to chase his first victory in the second-tier series.

“Parker Kligerman has done a fantastic job for us this year,” said Scott Borchetta, owner of Big Machine Racing. “His experience behind the wheel, and his amazing profile as an ambassador for our sport and our Big Machine Vodka SPIKED Coolers brand, provides all the fuel we need for next year. Let’s Go! 2024 is gonna be BIG.”

The 2023 season has marked a breakout year for both Kligerman and Big Machine Racing, as the team remains in an active battle to score its first-ever playoff berth in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

“Thank you to Scott and Sandi Borchetta for this amazing opportunity and their continued belief in me and what we’re building at Big Machine Racing,” said Kligerman. “Getting to know them, the entire Big Machine Racing team, and everyone at Big Machine Vodka Spiked Coolers has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.”

Over the course of the Summer, Kligerman and Big Machine Racing have clicked quite well, scoring nine finishes of 11th-place or better in the last 10 Xfinity Series events, which includes top-five results at Sonoma, Road America, and Watkins Glen.

The Westport, Connecticut-native has put together five top-five and 12 top-10 results for the organization this season, making it a career-high year for everybody involved with Big Machine Racing.

“Although we haven’t yet achieved our ultimate goal of winning races together, we’ve shared some unforgettable moments and continue to grow stronger each week,” continued Kligerman. “It’s an incredible feeling knowing we still have a chance to fight for a championship this year, and we’ll be doing just that in 2024.”

With the final run to the NASCAR Xfinity Series Playoffs in progress, Kligerman sits 11th in series point standings, just three points below the post-season cutline, which entering Daytona belongs to Riley Herbst.
