For the second straight year, Our Motorsports will expand its efforts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, fielding three full-time entries in the second-tier series in 2022.

“We are very excited about the plans we have put in place for the 2022 race season,” said Chris Our, team owner of Our Motorsports. “We continue to expand on the foundation built in our first two seasons in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. This combination of experienced drivers and crew members will make Our Motorsports a contender each weekend.”

Brett Moffitt will return to Our Motorsports for the third consecutive season, in which time the 2018 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Champion has recorded two top-five and 17 top-10 results. Team owner Chris Our confirmed to TobyChristie.com that Moffitt will carry the No. 02 once again.

“I’m really excited to be back with Our Motorsports in 2022,” Moffitt said. “Chris Our has been a great team owner to work with the past two seasons and I’m looking forward to continuing this journey with him. The foundation this team has built over the past couple of years has everyone in the shop motivated to take the next step in becoming a playoff team in ‘22,” said Moffitt.

After a victory and a playoff berth with Kaulig Racing last season, Jeb Burton will remain in the Chevrolet family for the 2022 season, piloting the second full-time entry for Our Motorsports. Burton, who will drive car No. 27, Our confirmed to TobyChristie.com, inked a two-year deal with the team.

“I am very excited to get to work. I can’t thank Mr. Our and his whole family enough,” Burton said. “I want to build something special here and win races for Our Motorsports. I appreciate this opportunity as it means the world to me and my family. I signed a multi-year deal and plan to build strong partnerships with our partners and compete for wins and championships.”

Anthony Alfredo will join Our Motorsports in the No. 23 machine. This comes after Alfredo’s first and only full-time Cup Series season with Front Row. Alfredo’s best finish was a top-10 at Talladega. In his lone part-time Xfinity Series season in 2019, Alfredo scored nine top 10 finishes and two top-fives. Veteran crew chief Pat Tryson will call the shots for the 22-year-old.

“I am very excited to return to the NASCAR Xfinity Series full time with Our Motorsports,” Alfredo said. “The team has accomplished a lot in a short time and I am excited to be a part of helping them continue to grow. I’m very thankful for the opportunity and ready to make the most of it.”

Kevin Cope will serve as the General Manager for Our Motorsports heading into 2022, overseeing all day-to-day operations. The team will also relocate to Welcome, North Carolina on the RCR Campus during the offseason. The team will also continue to utilize ECR engines.

Alfredo, Moffitt, and Burton will all be looking to deliver the young organization a victory in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, an accolade the team has had within its reach on multiple occasions, but has never been able to firmly secure.
