Myatt Snider Joe Gibbs Racing NASCAR Xfinity Series
Myatt Snider will compete in select NASCAR Xfinity Series events in 2023, piloting the No. 19 Toyota GR Supra, starting at Daytona.

Myatt Snider, who has spent the last three seasons as a full-time driver in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, will find himself scaling back to part-time competition in 2023, competing in select events for Joe Gibbs Racing.

Snider will make his debut with Joe Gibbs Racing in the season-opening event at Daytona International Speedway, where he’ll get behind the wheel of the team’s third entry, the No. 19 Toyota GR Supra.

A winner in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, Snider will then round out his six-race campaign in the No. 19 at Portland, Charlotte’s ROVAL, Las Vegas, Martinsville, and Phoenix.

“With six races on our 2023 schedule, I’m looking forward to climbing into the cockpit with Joe Gibbs Racing this year,” said Snider. “Having worked for JGR as a high schooler and a young racer, it’s an awesome full-circle moment to return as a driver to the team that has taught me so much about racing itself.”

The 28-year-old is set to join Ryan Truex, Connor Mosack, and Joe Graf, Jr. as the drivers who will compete part-time in the Joe Gibbs Racing entry. Sammy Smith and John Hunter Nemechek will compete full-time for the team in 2023.

“To be reunited with Jason Ratcliff driving the No. 19 Toyota Supra, we have an awesome history working together. With many memories and wins from 2013 and 2014 when I worked on the No. 20 Toyota Camry under Jason’s leadership, the team has always been more of a family relationship to me. I’m glad to be returning to the JGR family.”

Sponsorship for the effort will come primarily from TreeTop Inc., which served as a multi-race primary sponsor for Snider and Jordan Anderson Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series last season, including a runner-up result at Portland.

A native of Charlotte, North Carolina, Snider will make his 100th NASCAR Xfinity Series start when the series travels to Daytona International Speedway for the season-opening Beef. It’s What’s for Dinner. 300.

During his three-year tenure in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, Snider has accumulated a single victory – at Homestead in 2021 – as well as four top-five and 21 top-10 finishes. Snider also sat on the pole in his Xfinity Series debut at Daytona.

Over the years, Snider has competed for organizations such as RSS Racing, Richard Childress Racing, and Jordan Anderson Racing. Daytona will mark the first time in his NASCAR Xfinity Series career that Snider has piloted a Toyota Supra.
