For the first time since last November at Phoenix, Mason Massey will return to the NASCAR Xfinity Series, joining forces with Bobby Dotter and SS GreenLight Racing to compete in Saturday’s Tennessee Lottery 200 at Nashville Superspeedway.

The 26-year-old driver announced the addition to his racing schedule via social media on Monday, with confirmation that BRUNT Workwear, a long-time partner of Massey’s racing efforts in NASCAR’s National Series, would sponsor the No. 08 Ford Mustang.

A native of Douglasville, Georiga, Massey began the season as the full-time driver of the No. 33 Ford F-150 for Reaume Brothers Racing in the Truck Series, before parting ways with the organization after Martinsville Speedway.

In his six NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series starts this year, Massey picked up a career-high 11th-place result at Texas Motor Speedway in April, part of a short campaign that netted him a pair of top-25 results.

Last season, Massey served as the anchor driver of the No. 91 Chevrolet Camaro in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for DGM Racing, where he scored a pair of top-10 results at Atlanta and Loudon, out of his 24-race stint with the organization. In that time, Massey secured a total of five top-20 results.

Saturday’s Tennessee Lottery 250 at Nashville Superspeedway will mark the 48th career start for Massey in the second-tier series, but the first start for him while driving for Bobby Dotter and SS GreenLight Racing.

Additionally, Massey will look to make his first career start at the 1.33-mile speedway, after missing last season’s event with DGM Racing, one of three races he failed to qualify for last year.

Entering Nashville, the No. 08 for SS GreenLight Racing sits 31st in NASCAR Xfinity Series owner points, after having several drivers pilot the entry this season including Gray Gaulding, Aric Almirola, Natalie Decker, and Preston Pardus.
