The Jesse Iwuji Motorsports team, which has had a rotation of Jesse Iwuji and Kyle Weatherman behind the wheel of their No. 34 machine this season, will see a new driver slide into the car for the upcoming NASCAR Xfinity Series race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval.

Kaz Grala, who has 10 top-10 finishes in 42-career NASCAR Xfinity Series starts, will get his chance to provide the latest decent run for the upstart team co-owned by Iwuji and NFL Hall of Fame Running Back Emmitt Smith.

Grala made the announcement via his social media channels on Wednesday.

Grala will carry sponsorship from the eRacing Association as well as his own longtime personal partner Ruedebusch.com.

While the No. 34 team’s season got off to a rough start, the organization has really found some consistency as of late.

After having six finishes of 27th-or-worse and a DNQ through the opening seven races of the season, the No. 34 car scored its first-ever top-10 finish with Weatherman’s eighth-place finish at Michigan International Speedway in August.

Over the last 19 races, the team has added three top-15 finishes and eight top-20 efforts.

Now, the 23-yea-old Grala will get his chance to see what he can do in the car on the road course in Concord, North Carolina.

In addition to his solid past in NASCAR Xfinity Series competition, Grala has also scored a win, six top-fives and 18 top-10 finishes in 46 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts. Additionally, Grala has also posted two top-10 finishes over his seven-career starts in NASCAR Cup Series competition.

Grala, whose track record speaks for itself on road courses, should give the No. 34 team a very good chance at a good finish next weekend.
