After a 16th-place finish in Saturday’s Pennzoil 150 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s Road Course, Brett Moffitt and Our Motorsports have mutually agreed to part ways, the organization announced on Monday.
Moffitt, who has competed with the organization since its inaugural campaign in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2020, has guided Our Motorsports to two top-five and 21 top-10 results in his 80 events behind the wheel of the No. 02 Chevrolet Silverado.
“In 2020, Chris Our came to me to race the first four races of the season to get his new NASCAR Xfinity Series team off the ground,” Moffitt said in a team release. “Over two years later, I’ve had the opportunity to watch this team grow into a three-car organization. Our Motorsports is like family to me, and I cannot thank Chris, Mary, and all the men and women at Our Motorsports enough for the opportunity over the past few years together. I wish them all the success in the future and hopefully, our paths will cross again someday.”
This season, Our Motorsports has expanded its operations to field three NASCAR Xfinity Series entries, with Anthony Alfredo and Jeb Burton joining the organization full-time for this season.
Moffitt, who exited Indianapolis 16th in NASCAR Xfinity Series point standings, has posted four top-10 finishes over the course of the first 20 events this season, more than his teammates Alfredo and Burton combined.
“Brett has been with us from the inception of our NASCAR Xfinity team and I cannot thank him enough for his efforts over the past three years,” said team owner Chris Our. “We wish nothing but the best for Brett and his family.”

After the announcement became public, Brett Moffitt took to social media, saying: “Thanks to all the fans for their support through the years. I’ve got a loyal group of sponsors that support me, so we will find a competitive ride to get back on the racetrack soon.”
