Chase Elliott Feels Fine, Happy With Top10 Finish After Being Off Pace For Most of Martinsville Race

Chase Elliott says that after 400 laps of racing his surgically repaired left leg held up just fine and the driver of the No. 9 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet was proud to score a top10 finish after being out to lunch for the majority of the race. Elliott says, “Shit, we were barely hanging onto the lead lap, probably deserved to go a lap down there for a long time.” The driver says his finish on Sunday is something to be proud of.
