AJ Allmendinger: Kaulig Will Check Single Source Supplied Parts More Thoroughly Going Forward

Kaulig Racing is in the appeals process for a penalty on Justin Haley’s No. 31 car for an illegal hood louder. On Saturday, AJ Allmendinger says he’s thankful the part wasn’t on his car, but that it just as easily could have been. Allmendinger says it wasn’t something that his team did to manipulate the rules, says the team bolted the part on that was given to them by the single source supplier. He says the team will check those parts more thoroughly going forward.
