Video: Justin Allgaier’s Day Ends with MASSIVE Impact Into Backstretch Wall

Justin Allgaier, who was one of the four drivers battling for the $100,000 Dash4Cash bonus money went for a hell of a ride on Lap 25 of Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Ag-Pro 300 at Talladega Superspeedway.

It looked like Allgaier got loose, and slid up slightly, and received a tap from behind from Riley Herbst, which upset his No. 7 JR Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro and sent him spinning to the inside of the backstretch.

Allgaier’s car would skid, and slam hard into the inside wall.

Here is an additional replay of the crash:

Fortunately, Allgaier radioed to his team that he was alright despite the hard hit, and he climbed from his race car. The driver of the No. 7 machine will record a last-place finish.

Allgaier, who is looking for his first win of the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, was coming into this race on the high of two-consecutive top-five finishes (fifth at Martinsville, and third at Texas). Saturday’s early exit at Talladega will mark the second DNF for Allgaier through the opening nine races of this season.
