Video: Justin Allgaier’s Bid For First Daytona Win Ends in Crash

Justin Allgaier’s quest to win a NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Daytona International Speedway will have to wait until another day.

On lap 47, Josh Bilicki slowed on the track. As Allgaier approached, the off pace car of Jeremy Clements was up high. Justin Haley, who had been battling Allgaier made a move to avoid Bilicki and when he did, it trapped Allgaier behind Clements.

Allgaier slammed into the back of Clements’ No. 51 car causing severe damage to the No. 7 car.
