Justin Allgaier will pay tribute to his boss and 2021 NASCAR Hall of Fame inductee, Dale Earnhardt Jr. with his Darlington Raceway throwback scheme.  Allgaier and JR Motorsports revealed the scheme with a video on Thursday:

The white, black, orange and red scheme was a winner instantly for Earnhardt as he took the checkered flag  in the July 2003 NASCAR Xfinity Series event at Daytona International Speedway. Not only did Earnhardt win the race, but he led all 100 laps of the event in an absolutely dominating performance. Allgaier will look to replicate the feat at Darlington next week.

Allgaier finally scored his first victory of the 2020 season this past weekend at Dover International Speedway,  and despite being frustrated with his finishes for the majority of the year, Allgaier sits fifth in the championship standings through 21 races.
