BJ McLeod Motorsports announced on Monday that NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Stefan Parsons will return to the team for a multi-race deal in 2021 beginning at Homestead Miami Speedway on February 27th.

Parsons will return to the familiar No. 99 entry for the team according to a media release.

“I’m so excited to return to BJMM in 2021. We have some great partners onboard, including Mark Sokal and Sean Taylor who came on with us in the 2020 season,” Parsons said. “We’re really stepping up our program at BJMM and I can’t wait to show the results on the track! Looking to make my third year in the Xfinity Series the best one yet.”

Sokal Media Group, who backed Parsons in 2020, will return to his car for a select number of races in the 2021 season. In addition, Springrates Automotive Suspensions will return to Parsons’ No. 99 entry after making their Xfinity Series sponsor debut last season.

The Cornelius, North Carolina driver ran a part-time schedule in the Xfinity Series in 2020 with BJ McLeod Motorsports, with the best finish of 18th at Texas in nine starts for the team.

“It’s really great to have Stefan driving for us again this year,” said McLeod. “Stefan has been competing for BJ McLeod Motorsports for the past three years and he is a true asset to our team. Working with him on and off the track is something I’m looking forward to.”

The race schedule for Parsons, as well as additional partners, is expected to be confirmed at a later date.

The 2021 NASCAR Xfinity Series season will commence at the Daytona International Speedway on February 13th at 5:00 PM EST on Fox Sports 1 and the Motor Racing Network.
