Kyle Weatherman will become the literal weatherman this weekend in the NASCAR Xfinity Series Focused Health 250 at Circuit of the Americas. The driver of the No. 91 DGM Racing Chevrolet Camaro will have a new primary sponsorship partner in MyRadar.
“I’m honored to have MyRadar’s support for our upcoming race at COTA, especially since we’ve experienced so many different types of weather here,” Weatherman said in a DGM Racing press release. “MyRadar’s commitment to providing accurate weather data and innovative experiences for its users is admirable, and I look forward to showcasing their brand on the No. 91 Chevy Camaro.”
MyRadar is a mobile weather radar app, which has been downloaded more than 50 million times. The paint scheme will feature a purple base coat and will feature the black, teal, yellow, and red radar pattern from the MyRadar logo on the sides of the car.
With a solar eclipse coming on April 8, 2024, the rear bumper of the car will highlight MyRadar’s Live Eclipse Coverage. MyRadar is excited to partner with a driver with a last name so fitting to its brand.
“MyRadar is excited to support Kyle Weatherman and DGM Racing for the Focused Health 250 NASCAR Xfinity Series Race,” said Andy Green, CEO of MyRadar. “As the Unofficial Official Weatherman of NASCAR, Kyle brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for weather, making this sponsorship a natural fit for us. We are also thrilled to bring attention to the Great North American Eclipse and provide our users with the opportunity to experience this spectacular event enhanced with our live coverage and Eclipse Tracker.”
Weatherman, 26, is in the midst of a full-time NASCAR Xfinity Series campaign with DGM Racing. Four races into the season, Weatherman has scored a best finish of 16th, which he achieved in his most recent outing at Phoenix Raceway.
The racer also recorded a 17th-place finish at Atlanta Motor Speedway, the second race of the 2024 season.
Aside from a DNF, due to a crash on Lap 22 of the season-opening race at Daytona International Speedway, Weatherman has finished 21st or better in every race this year.
Weatherman heads into this weekend’s race at COTA 23rd in the NASCAR Xfinity Series championship standings.
In his lone start at the 3.410-mile scenic road course in Austin, Texas, Weatherman finished 22nd. The Missouri native will look to improve upon that finish this weekend with the colors of MyRadar adorned on his No. 91 Chevrolet Camaro.
