Kaulig Racing Adds Josh Williams to Xfinity Series Roster for 2024

What is it that they say about persistence? Ah, yes, it pays off. On Thursday Kaulig Racing announced perennial underdog contender Josh Williams as the newest member of the team’s NASCAR Xfinity Series driver roster for the 2024 season.

Williams will pilot the No. 11 Chevrolet Camaro for the team, and his longtime partner Alloy Employer Services will serve as a primary partner for the effort. The 30-year-old, who has scratched and clawed for top-10 finishes over the course of his NASCAR Xfinity Series career, will attempt to collect trophies in the upcoming season.

“After only an hour in the shop, I already feel like it’s home,” said Williams in a team release. “I’ve known a lot of these guys for a long time, and I felt like coming over here would give us a good opportunity to get wins. That’s the goal, Trophy Hunting.”

Kaulig Racing is excited to see the Florida native get behind the wheel of its race cars.

“Josh Williams has fought tooth and nail for everything in his racing career, and we’re really excited to have him race for us,” said Chris Rice, president of Kaulig Racing. “We love his energy and passion at the track, and we think his personality and drive will fit right in with the Kaulig Racing culture.”

Williams is a racer through, and through, and Alloy Employer Services is proud to be joining Williams on the next step of his racing journey.

“Josh Williams represents the spirit of racing as we know and love it,” said Alloy CMO, Chris Estey. “We are excited and confident in his potential for the 2024 season. His blend of competitive edge, skill and sportsmanship promotes a super opportunity for him and all his sponsors. For all of us to be aligned with Kaulig Racing produces a powerful recipe.”

Williams has made 186 starts to date in NASCAR Xfinity Series competition and has recorded 11 top-10 finishes along the way. While he has never tasted the spoils of victory lane in the NASCAR National Series ranks, Williams did score two victories in the ARCA Menards Series back in 2016, a season where he finished fourth in the championship standings.

He’ll now have the chance to show what he can do in a race-winning ride in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2024.
