While people have become accustom to seeing Justin Allgaier wheeling a bright red BRANDT agriculture Chevrolet Camaro, things will look a little different during the August 22-23 NASCAR Xfinity Series double-header weekend at the Dover International Speedway.

His No. 7 JR Motorsports car will turn blue as a sponsorship for the National FFA Organization.

The scheme will feature the official emblem of the national youth agricultural and leadership organization on the hood of the machine and it will also showcase the FFA’s Give the Gift of Blue program, which according to a press release helps provide the official FFA jacket to members who would otherwise be unable to own their own.

The sponsorship is on the No. 7 car as a gift essentially from BRANDT agriculture.

“This is a wonderful opportunity to highlight the strength of FFA and the power of donating FFA jackets to deserving young people through Give the Gift of Blue,” said Mark Poeschl, CEO of the National FFA Organization. “When an FFA member receives their own jacket, they gain self-confidence and participate more frequently in FFA. We’re thrilled and thankful that BRANDT is highlighting FFA and Give the Gift of Blue at Dover.”

Allgaier has struggled through a mostly frustrating 2020 season. After amassing eight wins over the past three seasons, Allgaier was expected to be one of the favorites to dominate in 2020.

He sits win-less, but still ranks seventh in the championship standings despite some horribly bad luck. Allgaier will look to get back to his winning ways.
