Congratulations are in order for part-time NASCAR competitor Josh Bilicki and his wife Kaitlyn as the couple welcomed their first child on Tuesday, January 28. On Wednesday, Bilicki announced the birth of their son, Cole Michael Bilicki in a social media post.

According to the signboard in the photo behind his newborn son, Cole Michael was born on Tuesday at 9:38 AM ET and weighed in at 5 lbs., 10 oz. The bundle of joy was 19 inches long at birth. In the post, Bilicki says that Kaitlyn and Cole Michael are both doing well and healthy following the delivery.

“Welcoming our baby boy! We couldn’t be more in love,” Bilicki said in the social media post. “Mom and baby are both doing well and are healthy!”

It’s been a good month for Bilicki both personally and professionally.

On January 15, Bilicki announced that he would return to DGM Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2025 as the driver of the team’s No. 91 Chevrolet for the majority bulk of the season.

Bilicki, 29, also competed in the Chili Bowl Nationals earlier this month in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In the legendary indoor dirt midget racing event, Bilicki scored a win in the H-Feature 2, his first career win in a Chili Bowl Nationals Championship Day Feature event. Bilicki would not advance past the G-Feature, but he impressed many with his improved performance in the event from a season ago.

Heading into the 2025 season, the native of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin has recorded four top-10 finishes in 107 NASCAR Xfinity Series starts. While Bilicki has carved out starts with DGM Racing and Joe Gibbs Racing over the last few years, the majority of the driver’s career starts have come for underdog race teams.

In addition to his 107 NASCAR Xfinity Series starts, Bilicki has made 101 NASCAR Cup Series starts, and 11 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series starts.

In December 2020, Bilicki revealed in an interview with TobyChristie.com that he launched his NASCAR National Series career in an unconventional way as he sent a Facebook message to the now-defunct Obaika Racing team five days before what would be his first series start. Bilicki told the team if they needed a driver for Road America, he was available. The team took him up on the offer, and Bilicki would run the 2016 NASCAR Xfinity Series event at Road America, where he would finish 38th after an electrical issue ended his race after six laps.
