When Justin Allgaier and the No. 7 JR Motorsports team arrives at the 0.75-mile Richmond Raceway for Friday’s GoBowling 250, they’ll be doing so with a fresh new look as FilterTime.com steps in for their first real-life NASCAR primary sponsorship.

The household air filter subscription service was a sponsor of Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s virtual No. 8 machine in the iRacing eNASCAR Pro Invitational Series during the coronavirus pandemic shut down earlier in the season.

Now, they return with a bold blue, white and gray scheme with neon yellow numbers in this weekend’s NXS event.

FilterTime is of course a company that was founded by former NASCAR Xfinity Series competitor Blake Koch. After seeing the business model first-hand, Dale Earnhardt Jr. chose to invest in the venture as well.

Koch, who scored 10 top-10 finishes in his NXS driving career and nearly made the Championship 4 in the series back in 2016, shared his elation for sponsoring Allgaier’s car for this weekend’s race on Twitter.

Following the Tweet from Koch, Allgaier —- who has been a long-time friend of Koch —- tweeted out his excitement for carrying the brand on his No. 7 machine at Richmond.

Allgaier has scored a win this season, which came at Dover a couple of weeks ago. Despite a lot of bad luck this year, Allgaier sits seventh in the Xfinity Series championship standings and is looking to crack into the Championship 4 for the fourth time in five years.
