There are 40 cars on the preliminary entry list for Saturday’s North Carolina Education Lottery 250 at Rockingham Speedway, the tenth event of the 2025 season.
With up to 38 drivers being permitted to start events in the NASCAR Xfinity Series this season, there will be two cars sent home following the conclusion of this weekend’s qualifying session.
Kyle Larson, who dominated last weekend’s NASCAR Xfinity Series event at Bristol Motor Speedway, will not be in the field at Rockingham, and neither will the No. 17 entry for Hendrick Motorsports.
This weekend, there will be several notable drivers in the NASCAR Xfinity Series field, many of whom are looking to collect their first career victories.
Kasey Kahne, a multi-time winner in the NASCAR Cup Series, is set to return to competition for the first time in several years, driving the No. 33 Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing.
