Video: Jack Wood Spins in Practice, Kaz Grala SLAMS Into Teammate Austin Dillon in Aftermath

That’s definitely not what you want to see if you’re Tyler Young or anyone at Young’s Motorsports.

Both Kaz Grala (No. 02) and Austin Dillon (No. 20) have major damage to their Chevrolet Silverados, after an incident in final practice for Saturday’s Pinty’s Truck Race on Dirt at Bristol Motor Speedway.

The accident, which didn’t start with Grala or Dillon, started when Jack Wood – driving the No. 24 for GMS Racing — looped his entry around in the center of turn two, drawing a caution flag.

After a couple of seconds went by, Dillon went to the outside of the track to avoid the stopped truck of Jack Wood, dramatically slowing his pace, when Grala, his teammate, slammed into the back of the K&L Ready Mix entry.

Young’s Motorsports will attempt to fix both the No. 02 and No. 20 trucks prior to Saturday’s qualifying races. Grala, who spoke to FOX after the accident, says that the team only has one backup truck and it isn’t ‘dirt ready’, so they’ll be attempting to fix both trucks.
