A caution-filled Truck Series event had that trend continue on lap 94, as a multi-truck accident involved multiple contending drivers and tied a series record. On lap 94, Chase Purdy, driving the No. 77 Spire Motorsports entry, got into the back of Tyler Ankrum, driving the No. 18 from McAnally Hilgemann Racing.
Ankrum, the winner of stage two, lost control and spun back down the track into Purdy, the No. 56 of Timmy Hill, the No. 98 of Ty Majeski, and the No. 19 of Christian Eckes, Ankrum’s MHR teammate.

Purdy’s truck erupted in flames while in the grass and he was forced to stop his truck and climb out, ending his race prematurely.
The caution, the 11th of the race, tied the record for the most cautions in a Truck Series race at Daytona. The record was previously set in 2019, a race that saw only nine trucks running at the finish.
