The red flag waved on Lap 62 of Friday’s Toyota 200 at World Wide Technology Raceway thanks to a partial power outage at the venue.

The race was under green flag conditions upon the power outage, which knocked out NASCAR’s timing and scoring system.

The FOX broadcast first reported that an issue outside the racetrack was named the culprit.

Chris Blair, the general manager and executive vice president of the WWT Raceway, said a fire took out a transformer, causing the power outage.

Repair crews are at the track working to get the power fully restored.

There are 49 laps remaining in Stage 2, with 2020 champion Sheldon Creed scored as the leader.
