Video: Johnny Sauter Crashes While Battling Teammate For Lead at Michigan

Johnny Sauter entered Friday’s NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series Henry Ford Health Center 200 at Michigan International Speedway in a near-win situation, if he wants to eventually make the 2020 Playoffs.

After winning Stage 2, Sauter was battling his ThorSport Racing teammate Grant Enfinger for the lead with 16 laps remaining. Just as Sauter got his No. 13 to the side of Enfinger’s No. 98, disaster struck.

Sauter went around and crashed into the outside wall.
