Video: Friesen and Majeski Experience Hoods Flying Open During Truck Practice

It appears that a couple of NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series teams forgot to check off fastening the hood pins on their pre-practice checklist Friday afternoon at North Wilkesboro Speedway. Jut minutes into the 50-minute practice session, Stewart Friesen, and Ty Majeski saw the hoods fly open on their trucks.

Friesen pilots the No. 52 Toyota Tundra for Halmar Friesen Racing and Majeski pilots the No. 98 Ford F-150 for ThorSport Racing.

Aside from some twisted hood flaps, and some slight denting to the top of the windshield area on both trucks, it appears there wasn’t much other additional damage added in the odd sequence at the start of practice for Saturday’s Wright Brand Bacon 250.
