Video: Austin Hill Sees Championship Hopes Drain After HARD Crash With Hailie Deegan

Austin Hill Bristol Crash Hailie Deegan

Austin Hill had championship hopes, but those hopes were dashed with a hard crash with 12 laps to go in Thursday’s NASCAR Truck Race at Bristol. Hill came down the track into Josh Berry on the frontstretch.

This sent Hill hard into the inside wall, which ricocheted  the No. 16 truck back up the track right into Hailie Deegan.

It was a very hard crash.

This crash will mark the first-career DNF (did not finish) for Deegan.

There were six trucks involved in total in this crash: Hill, Deegan, Berry, Lawless Alan, Derek Kraus and Austin Wayne Self.
