Ty Majeski, who enters Friday night’s Kubota Tractor 200 at Kansas Speedway 58 points above the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Playoffs cutline, will begin the final race of the Round of 10 from the pole position.

Majeski, who drives the No. 98 ThorSport Racing Ford F-150, slung his truck around the 1.5-mile speedway in 30.853 seconds in qualifying, a lap that equated to a 175.023 mph lap. Majeski was nearly a tenth-of-a-second faster than Connor Mosack, who will be in the lineup alongside him on the front row in the No. 7 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado.

The pole marks the fifth pole of the season for Majeski, and the 10th of his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series career, and it comes in just his 85th career start. Majeski was happy to walk out of the session with another pole award as the wind at Kansas Speedway was a bit intense, and he felt that he left some on the table in Turn 3.

“Well, the wind is a little bit of a hurdle for sure,” Majeski said. “Just not sure when it’s going to come. Got a little bit free in the center of [Turns] 3 and 4. Kind of felt it bog down the truck a little bit, but thankfully it was enough.”

Christian Eckes, who secured his advancement in the NASCAR Truck Series Playoffs last week at Bristol Motor Speedway, will start Friday night’s race from the third position in the No. 19 McAnally-Hilgemann Racing Chevrolet, and he’ll be joined by defending series champion Ben Rhodes, who comes into the final race of the Round of 10 as the last driver on the Playoff Grid at 12 points below the cutline.

Rhodes will attempt to advance in an effort to score back-to-back championships.

Dawson Sutton, who took over the reins of the No. 25 Rackley W.A.R. Chevrolet Silverado from Ty Dillon this week, will start in fifth ahead of Kaden Honeycutt, Nick Sanchez, Stewart Friesen, Jake Garcia, and Daniel Dye, who round out the top-10 starters in Friday night’s race.

Here are where all of the Playoff contenders will start on Friday night, and their point differential to the cutline heading into the night:

1. Ty Majeski (+58 points to cutline)

3. Christian Eckes (Locked into Round of 8)

4. Ben Rhodes (-12 points)
