While NASCAR or Reaume have yet to fully detail what was included in the social media post that led to Josh Reaume’s indefinite suspension, in a report from Kickin The Tires, which cites the alleged source that revealed the social media post to NASCAR, it has been disclosed that Reaume posted a photo of a swastika to his social media account before deleting it.

Josh Reaume, who fields the Reaume Brothers Racing team in the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series and typically drives one of the team’s trucks, has been indefinitely suspended by NASCAR following the season finale at Phoenix Raceway.

The post-event penalty report has Reaume listed as being suspended for breaking section 12.1; 12.8.1.e of the NASCAR rule book and the infraction has been listed as a behavioral violation.

Section 12.1 pertains to actions detrimental to stock car racing and 12.8.1.e reads, “Public statement and/or communication that criticizes, ridicules, or otherwise disparages another person based upon that person’s race, color, creed, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, religion, age, or handicapping condition.”

NASCAR has not disclosed exactly what led to the suspension other than the infraction stemmed from a social media post that violated the rule book.

Reaume competed in 12 NGROTS as a driver in 2020 with a best finish of 17th, which came at Michigan International Speedway.
