Stefan Parsons is set to join Spire Motorsports to pilot the No. 7 Chevrolet Silverado RST in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Championship Race at Phoenix Raceway, the team confirmed on Monday.

Parsons is a journeyman driver who has spent the last seven seasons jumping between rides in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, and on Friday, will get his first real opportunity in top-tier equipment.

Transportation Charter Services (TCS), a trusted leader in group passenger transportation, will be serving as the primary sponsor for Parsons in his Spire Motorsports debut. The company will also sponsor the Cornelius, North Carolina-native in Saturday’s Xfinity Series event, where he’ll drive for Joey Gase Motorsports.

“I’m really excited to have Transportation Charter Services (TCS) on board for my first race with Spire Motorsports,” said Stefan Parsons. “Phoenix is a big market for TCS, and I’m proud to represent them on such a big stage. Spire always brings fast trucks to the track, and I’m ready to go out there and make the most of it.”

Friday’s NASCAR Truck Series Championship Race will mark the fourth time (and with the fourth different organization) that Parsons has competed at the one-mile oval of Phoenix Raceway. Throughout his limited tenure in the NASCAR Truck Series, Parsons has a career-best result of sixth at Daytona in 2024.

“We are thrilled to partner with Stefan Parsons Racing, Prevost, Suggs Sports Marketing, and the American Bus Association for the Spire Motorsports No. 7 sponsorship at the Craftsman Truck Series Championship Race in Phoenix,” said Terry Fischer, President of TCS. “We’re proud to bring the TCS brand to the racetrack in a fun and innovative way — showcasing the same passion, performance, and reliability that define who we are as a company.”

Parsons has also made a total of 69 starts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series over the last six seasons, competing for various organizations, including BJ McLeod Motorsports, Alpha Prime Racing, SS-GreenLight Racing, and the now-defunct JD Motorsports — in those starts, Parsons has a career-best of eighth-place at Bristol Motor Speedway in 2023, driving for Alpha Prime.

The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Championship Race at Phoenix Raceway will take place on Friday, October 31, at 7:30 PM ET. Coverage of the event will be on FOX Sports 1, with radio coverage on the NASCAR Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.
