Sheldon Creed looked really good in the opening Stage of Friday night’s NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series World of Westgate 200 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Creed, who has three race wins this season, bested his GMS Racing teammate Brett Moffitt for the Stage 1 win.

Behind the GMS Racing duo in Stage 1 was rookie Derek Kraus, who just barely missed out on the 2020 Playoffs.

ThorSport Racing’s Grant Enfinger was fourth and Zane Smith was fifth.

Ben Rhodes, Christian Eckes, Tanner Gray, Matt Crafton and Chandler Smith rounded out the top-10 in Stage 1.

Raphael Lessard had an unscheduled pit stop after slapping the wall. He sits two laps off the pace in 31st after Stage 1.

Natalie Decker was not allowed to race as she was not medically cleared to run the race. However, the Niece Motorsports No. 44 truck was inspected and on the grid, so it will be credited with the last-place finish on Friday night despite not running a lap.
