After a couple of weekends off, Ryan Roulette is getting ready to return to the racetrack at the iconic North Wilkesboro Speedway, competing in Saturday’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event.
Roulette will return to the driver’s seat of the No. 67 Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Chevrolet Silverado RST for Freedom Racing Enterprises, marking his second of three scheduled Truck Series starts in 2025.
The native of Minot, North Dakota is coming off a 21st-place finish in his most recent start in the ARCA Menards Series, which came at the end of April at Talladega Superspeedway.
However, Roulette will be shifting his focus to a brand-new racetrack this weekend, as he looks to tackle North Wilkesboro Speedway for the Window World 250 on Saturday.
“We’re thrilled to return to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series this weekend at North Wilkesboro Speedway for the Window World 250,” Roulette told TobyChristie.com. “After an action-packed run at Talladega in the ARCA Menards Series, our team is eager to hit the track in the Freedome Racing Enterprises No. 67 Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Chevrolet Silverado RST, as part of the incredible NASCAR All-Star Weekend.”
The 39-year-old driver will attack the 0.625-mile short track in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, in what will mark his second start in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with Freedom Racing Enterprises.
Earlier in the season, at Martinsville Speedway, Roulette debuted in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for Freedom Racing Enterprises, where, after an incident and some mechanical issues, the No. 67 finished 35th.
“If this year’s race is anything like the 2024 showdown, fans are in for a thrilling, hard-fought battle. A huge thank-you to our newest partners, FASTRAC Construction Products and Xtreme Graffix, for joining us for this special event—we’re proud to have you on board.”
During the upcoming race weekend at North Wilkesboro Speedway, Roulette will have Marine Corps Veteran Craig Armstrong at the racetrack with the team.
Armstrong served with the 1st BN. 6th Marines at Camp Lejeuna, North Carolina, where he deployed to Desert Shield / Desert Storm in service of the United States. Craig continues to serve his Veteran community as a lifetime member of VFW Post 7318 in South Pines, North Carolina, and as the North Carolina VFW State Commander in 2019-2020.
When not alongside his comrades, you will likely find Craig alongside his wife Tracy and their eight kids, and eight grandkids.
The Window World 250 at North Wilkesboro Speedway will take place on Saturday, May 18 at 1:30 PM ET on FS1, MRN, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.
